Reset Car without repair

I know you can reset a car without repairing it via InSim - is there a way to do this in SP mode too?

Yes, you can.
By default, it's the spacebar, so, when you stop your car, press spacebar and it will repair it. (Obviously, you have to authorize it before start the game (the option it's betwen the pilots and the car))

I know you can reset using spacebar, but it repairs the car. I want to reset the car but not repair it.

no.. if you are online a TOW or a MED/RES can do it via winch but that is it.. there is no option for that unless you know how to code insim
(pit menu gives you the option to chage only tyres without damage repair)

It's not possible without any form of InSim afaik.
