Cassette tapes - Will they make a comeback?
According to this article, Cassette tapes may be making a comeback, in the form of server farm storage, up to 35 Terabytes apiece.

My parents still have old casettes lying around. Haha, the good 'ol days of recording music from the radio onto casettes. A little sideways, but I was in KMART yesterday and surprisingly they still sell the old blank VHS Tapes.

Computer tape never went away.
They've been used for (relatively) cheap, high capacity, high sequential speed storage/backup since before the micro audio cassette you know and love even existed. |
