G27 shifter problem

Hello.. In the last time my g27 shifter have not worked correct..

When i have it in 1st gear it says 1st, but so sometimes it go to 3rd gear..
When i have it in 2nd gear it says that, but nearly always it go to N or 4th gear.


I have nearly used my shifter (not know why)..

I forgot to ask this: Can i fix it by myself, or do i need to buy a new one or something?

PS: I got my g27 in 2011 Summer.. Not remember the date or month

Common problem, there are some tutorials on the web on how to fix it if you use google.

The warranty is 2 years, so yours will expire summer 2013 which is now basically. If you can find out exactly when you purchased it, you may be able to get a new one under warranty.

Sure its 2 years? I just visited the logitech site and it says 3years for me.

The problem if i fix it self, are that im just noob to fix things like that..

Edit: Its still not 2 years old. (20.08.11). But i never bouth it on the logitech site. I bouth it in a website, some had it on sale.

Oh well it was 2 years for the G25... you could just get a new one in that case.

Just contact logitech or the site i got it from?

Logitech, I believe you give them the product code (located under the wheel IIRC) and they send you a brand new one out.
