so a few days ago i downloaded the files that were listed on the site. i downloaded files called 'road textures'.

could you explain what they are and what they are used for?

it was listed in the LFS files part on the downloads page?

Road textures change the roads to a newer/older model and could even change the colour of the road.

Also if the textures are highres they will impact on your FPS so keep that in mind.
