Questions about leeway and fining

As everyone knows, the leeway is 10%, and you can go 132kph at 120kph or 77mph at 70mph zone without getting fined. But is there some kind of bug, because when i drive 132 at 120, i can still be issued with fine of 60€? Is it going over the leeway in mph? Can i make refund request if i get fined by cop when im driving 132 at 120?

As soon as the leeway is exceeded, a fine can be issued. That is how the leeway works. It is "leeway" for a reason.

my whole life i have been lied to Why not just say its 9% leeway so ppl dont get fined when driving 10%

The leeway is there to protect you if you accidentally go over a bit. It is not there as a target speed - if you're in the leeway, you're still speeding.

As for speeds in general, they're all calculated in m/s. The posted limits are approximations (as they have to be to avoid saying things like 100.8kph/62.63mph). The actual internal speed limit is usually somewhere between the two posted limits, often closer to the higher speed.
This approximation is another reason for the leeway.

Oh alright. Thought i havent ever stopped anyone when they have drove 132 at 120 because its in the leeway and people has been told that if youe driving in it, you cant be fined. So imo its pretty annoying and greedy from cop to be fined for that speed :/

By the way, finelist says leeway is 132 on 120 zone which isn't true and should be fixed =P

EDIT: and it tells it way you cant be fined for going 132 on 120 road, thats the reason

Adrian because my speedo said 132 as did the laser. I understand its not speed to aim at, and its just to protect the driver, but the "new" players might not. They have been told to go read rules, they go and read the finelist also. It tells you can drive 132@120 without getting fined. Then they drive it and get fined, and get confused. They just read the rules, which tells you cant be fined, but then they are? Wouldnt it just be easier to add ~ sign in front of the 10% and the 132 in finelist, so it wouldn't confuse people Im not trying to blame, or attack, im trying to help you guys improve. Sorry if my posts feel like blaming

We could make it 11% percent to avoid the 132K/mh issue, then we'd have the same problem at 133K/mh.

So i think easiest solution is to add ~ sign at finelist, and other places where theres information that leeway is 10%, or examples where it doesn't actually work at cruisers view as the 132@120 one

Yes i know and have read that. The fact is that finelist says, you can drive 132 at 120 zone without being fined. I understood already that it gives the fine because it goes over in mph. Simplest solution to make it tell you the true is to add ~ mark in front of 132
