Today, 3th of August, i was chasing [TC] Saphira. After some time we were driving down Hillside Road towards the roundabout. At the narrow part she slowes down. As a reaction I slow down. After that she PITed me. This is what the report is about. She pitted me into oncomming traffic, wich she clearly could see (minimap and visual). I crashed SO Blacktop head on. This caused me to lose the chase. She did apologise but IMO to late. She already had escaped. As you can see towards the end we had a little discussion about what happend.

I know that suspects PITing cops is oke, but when we cops PIT someone into oncomming traffic we get warnings, rights revoked etc. From my point of view it seems that it is ok for a TC member to do this.

Having looked at the replay several hours later, with repsect MvB you are correct in reporting me, even though i am a TC member this does not make me exempt from any actions that occur on TC servers.

I viewed it from several angles, and from my car and also yours, plus the oncomming traffic's cars too. I did misjudge the oncomming traffic, your car length from them and also mine, this resulted in you being hit by the oncomming traffic on Hillside road after i performed a perfectly legit PIT on you. However this PIT is what resulted in your loss of the chase.

I did apologise, and again i shall apologise.
You will be refunded accordingly for the chase.

Hi,

Since Saphira's pit manoeuvre (directly) caused an accident outside of the chase, it was not allowed. Although she apologised in-game, she did not see it as her fault. Since seeing the incident properly, Saphira has accepted full responsibility, apologised again and sent you 600 InSim Euros as compensation. This was a clear mistake on her part and mistakes happen, so no action is needed.
