We're pleased to announce that this year's CityDriving Gumball rally will be held at the Westhill environment with an all new layout designed specifically for Gumball.

Without giving too much away, the race track has been converted into a 2 way road system, replacing the old one way system. The outfield remains mostly unchanged.

The reason behind our choice is simple. By using Westhill we can offer a fast, flowing road system primarily for use by those who are driving in the Gumball. The rest of the track can be used for casual driving as it was already on the old layout.

At the end of the day, Westhill offers everything we could possibly want and the layout we created when the V2 environment was released was not up to our usual standard. The new layout is of a standard comparable to that of Westhill V1 and as such Westhill now offers much more than any of the other track environments, a no brainer for Gumball.

We'd like to remind you that the rally starts in less than 14 days and that to be a part of the start proceedings for this year's rally you will need to be on one of the servers from around 23:00 GMT+1 on Friday 31st July. There will be a starting procession on all active servers and the rally will get under way at precisely 0:01 on Saturday 1st August.
