Google sign in issue
Hey Guys & Gurls,
Yeah as the title says, I'm having issues signing into Google anywhere I am.. I can't sign into my account or another account. I use Google chrome as my default browser, I have deleted all the cache and enabled cookies etc etc but no luck, every time I click login with the correct details, nothing happens but the page refreshing and creating a new tab.. I also have a notice on my phone saying "Account action required" this does not go away at all, I can remove it from the notifications bar but just like on Chrome it comes back in a yellow warning... I never had this issue before, started a good few months ago now hoping it would fix itself.. I have no problems signing in anywhere else. I can still sign into Youtube but have some weird problems there related to the account too... Is it worth emailing them about it? Anyone have any ideas? Screenshots (Click to View) Thanks! |

Firstly try troubleshooting:
https://support.google.com/accounts/trou...2620?hl=en Also, after a quick research, I found out that it could be fixed with a "two-step verification": https://support.google.com/googleplay/an...1409?hl=en Both of these URLs should be really straightforward to use. |

I was getting hope I was able to access my account and change setting I presume on Google+ but it's still saying I am not logged in on Chrome?? |

Have you tried using different browser when signing in? Have you deleted cookies as you enabled them?
Sync error: Sign in again Your sign-in information is outdated (e.g. you recently changed your password or turned on 2-step verification for your Google Account). If you have changed your Google Account password, follow the steps below: 1.Click the error message and enter your Google Account username and the new password. 2.If prompted for a passphrase, enter your sync passphrase. In some cases it may be the same as your Google Account password. ___ If you have enabled 2-step verification, follow the steps below: 1. Click the error for exact details. 2. If you're prompted to sign in, enter your Google Account username and password. Do not enter an application-specific password here. 3. You will be asked to enter a verification code. Generate the password on your Authorizing applications and sites page and paste it into the dialog. Source: Troubleshoot sync issues Edit: I'm not certain it would help you, I've never had a problem like this, but as it's somehow related to your problem it should be tried. |

Try deleting your profile from Chrome and try again. It worked for me.

I have had the same issue with signing in, solved it by logging out from ALL the devices I've been using the account on.

It's slightly different on other Browsers chuck, I prefer firefox but had issues running it so switched to Chrome, the way Chrome works with google is by using an account etc.
I have some news, I had a look and disconnected my Account completely from the setting in Chrome so I will have to resign in etc for it to work. It is not asking me to sign in anymore and I can access my account fine on Youtube and google. So thats sorted. I believe I have some how fixed it by doing that. But my phone is still unable to connect to the account. I'm actually unsure what it's trying to access, maybe my emails? But either way it won't connect or recognised I am signed in on the computer now. this is the message: I have no issues with Data as far as I am aware of. Edit: This is the message it always comes up from the start when trying to sign in on my mobile. Cheers for all the help though guys. |
