Gameplay improvements
The suggestion is to add two commands:
A roadblock may be only requested once every 5 minutes, there may only be 1 unit responding to a roadblock request, and no I do not expect to see a 5.5-ton truck placing a roadblock that's just ridiculous. Why? It is becoming very difficult to escape, and it is more of a luck than a 'skill', if a chase becomes too one-sided then IMO it becomes pointless to have them. There's also the 1 suspect vs an entire team that switches tags, or just about anyone going on duty and then it becomes 1 suspect vs 10 or an indefinite amount of COPs. IMO a chase shouldn't not be extremely one sided, plus when suspects have more chances of escaping we will be see'ing more chases, which is a win-win scenario for everyone. It might not be 'naive' afterall to start adding some limitations, i.e how many COPs can join or # of roadblocks allowed, this is up to debate and would love to hear your input on this. |

the whole fun element of chases has been lost with the almost every cop in a OP mod car, even with skill its too hard now to lose the cps in the standard cars. its not fun and boring af now.

The classes would be a bit of work, but better to do it now when there are not over thousands of mods to drive. |

Don't run from a mod police car in a XRT? even then evading chases purely based on skills varies from cop to cop and suspect to suspect. Also, some maps and layouts favors suspects more than cops and vice versa. Before mods everyone just ran a FZ5. If chases were to be limited to car type then there would be no chases at all. |

its clear that cops need these mods because obviously they cant catch a fz5 with a fz5. and iv have seen a few fz5 cops lose so many tbo chases too. now these pussy cops have these modded fz5 cop cars with 400+hp and the konigseg cop cars etc, its easier for these terrible cops to finally win chases and finally their no brains can keep up with a 100+hp normal fxo..
xrt vs fz5 cops is possible for me, but not these bad mod cops. |

But as stated more than once in this thread, it's almost impossible for suspects to evade chases when there's so many cops out there that use cars that are way faster than the suspect's car... I've been on both sides, not a pleasant chase for all. The suspect has a very low chance to evade the cops as is, why add even more chances for cops to bust? Also, can't you just have a bind to request a roadblock? If cops are available, they can accept said request and place a roadblock. |
