The girl couldn't hear for 29 years of her life, but the nurse has carried out a process whereby she can hear her surroundings, after 29 years. Presumably, she was crying as she was so happy and surprised, rather than for a negative reason.

I've seen this before. It's pretty amazing how modern technology can allow a deaf person to hear.

I remember watching a program about modern technology, they are currently in prototype development and testing for a bionic eye.

It maybe small progress but its a massive leap.

It is increadable on what we can achieve and i bet its a good feeling for the designers of the technology when they see a good result like that!

People like that girl crying to hear and the rest of the people crying for LFS updates.

How ironical is the world, you dont know what you have till you lose it. Im very happy for that girl, technology being used for a good reason
