I still don't understand, why did the devs make XRT have those 'closed' lights, which aren't able to be opened...

Because it's based on the Mitsubishi Starion which has popup headlamps and because there's only daytime and good weather ingame, you don't need the option to open the headlamps in racing (it's a racing game originally, after all).

Popup headlamps would also make the cars drag coefficient much higher which is very bad for a car that's used for racing.

I thought I was the only one being annoyed by hell with this...
Couldn't the devs give the option to put the headlights on with the 3 button, and the pop up headlamps with a different button?
