RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
My god, hurts seeing such a car wreck, but i guess it happens when you speed around in a busy city in your supercar, and with other morons on the road at the same time.

RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
He wasn't speeding. Someone on reddit did a video analysis and the Aventador was traveling between 31-38mph. It's also worth mentioning that it did have the right of way in that situation.
I can however understand why the car would drive out infront of it. The Aventadors profile, especially combined with that colour, makes it easy to miss in traffic. |

RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
I love how some people drive these days... No regard to anyone else on the road

RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
Regardless of his speed, he would be a good road user if he could see hazards building up, as in this case, a car starting to pull out. He might not have been speeding, but i'm pretty sure he didn't adapt his speed to the road conditions.
However, it does of course not excuse that driver's fail to yield. |

Inspired by stealth planes, after all. Looked in the video like the Mazda was going to stop and let the Lambo pass but exactly before the collision it sped up again. That's a bit unpredictable. |

RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
That certainly is painful.. I feel sorry for both drivers.
Insurance will be expensive for quite some time for the Lambo driver now. Speed limits in that sort of area should be 20MPH so the Lambo driver should of had chance to slow down if he were going the limit however, the Mazda driver was probably hidden under the traffic when it pulled out never mind the Lambos stealthy profile Both at fault personally. Dayum. |

RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
I have been in that situation at a junction waiting for a Lambo (Gallardo(not me driving though)), and I have to say despite the low profile of the car, you certainly can't miss it. The thing is wider than nearly all other cars and you hear it before you see it. There was no excuse for the Mazda to pull out like that, just looks like he was too impatient and wanted to force his way out.

There's no doubt the Mazda will be at fault, but it sounds like the Lambo was barely slowing down. It's just s shame when 2 poor drivers are on the same bit of road. |

RE: Aventador flying past! or..?
Quite often people telling you that they didn't see you, is just a poor excuse for them not looking. Had one of those accidents myself ages ago.
Not gonna jump to conclusions here, hardly visible from one angle what really happened. |
