Looking very good indeed, and the rims are really nice as well. I'd say straighten up the exhaust and get some hub caps though. Also maybe removing those huge things in front of the heardlight might update the look of the front of the car slightly. What are they for anyway, headlight sprinklers or something?

Yeah, headlights sprinklers never seen them working or that thinking to remove them but if i do that it will be big hole there indstead, and i have trying to fix last muffler its kinda lose there bults is to it

Was practicing the corner reverse part for my handling test on next tuesday. Will be going to the test with this, the 23.1 meter and 4 meters high Scania G440.

Got some new rims for the Sierra Smile

Wider tyres also. The acceleration also got better with those tyres/rims.

Only problem is it so low now that it sometimes scrapes the muffler to some speedbumps lol.

Edit:

And those tyres were peugeot ones, dad just took the pegeot emblem off lol.
And also those were powdercoated or somthing.

Are you sure acceleration got better with larger rims? I ran a better quarte mile with my 13s over my 15s!

A smaller wheel would in theory be better for acceleration because the diameter directly affects your gear ratio (the tires are an extended part of the transmission after all.)

In the real world however, the situation can in some cases be negated with tires that have more surface area and a better grip. The overall mass affects acceleration a lot too so if your new wheels are lighter than the old ones then this could improve performance greatly by having less unsprung mass.

Of course it could be just a butt dyno feel because wheels with different diameter and mass vibrate differently and cause a different sensation in the driver.

I know Volkswagens came with 13s for more torque and better fuel economy but I wonder if the 13s I used had much better tires than my 15s. I could just feel a slower acceleration. I'll do a weight comparison. I'm budding a race car should have thought this through sooner lol

I have 2 sets of 13s 2 sets of 14s a set of 15s and a set of 16s for my mk1s. Guess I'll have to take them all to the track and find out.

.I will say my 13x5 tarantulas had better grip than the 13x4.5 steelies but both were better than the 15x7 alloys

Was about to ask if that was the view from your garden, but then I read the text. Woops.

Anyway.. I parked my own car inside today.. There's rain expected, and its not just rain. The rain this weekend will drop ALOT of sand with it. Infact there was already a small moment of rain this morning, and my car already looks like it hasn't been washed for months.
