...4 hours later the nice AA man re-solders part of the ECU pins and reseals the case...lets me on my way...

...3 hours late off a shift and im not a happy bunny...

....Grrr.

Sounds fun... At least your ECU didn't completely fry and pour petrol out of the intake. But then it must be 5 times more irritating knowing that you're responding to an emergency.

Try being overbooked, last people to check in don't have a room, but 2 of their 5 rooms have already been checked in. Managed to find 3 rooms another hotel but everywhere else was full. They insisted they wanted their 5 rooms in one place and was back and forth them giving me shit, shouting at me for an hour and half as they were demanding a refund but manager not on site to authorise it. With them already having a few drinks did not help. I now have a headache and mentally drained out.

AA can be useless.

Slightly more on topic, fun nights regarding work -

Staff christmas do -

I was the only sober one.
One receptionist got thrown out of the club, ended up in a pretty bad way (and I'm not talking about drunkeness, she was already in that bad way)
Another receptionist was already outside having had waaaaay too much. I got a taxi home with both of these, had to carry one of them into her room and physically put her into bed. I then had to stop the other one (who'd been thrown out) attempting to open the bar at the hotel so she could continue drinking. Then everyone else rocked up and either went home or continued drinking.

All the while the third receptionist we have had been to hospital having drunken too much.
