RE: New computer.
Pricy, and probably would need more from the PSU?
For the price alone it's a nono, can't afford To go with the fact I'd probably need a bigger PSU, it'd cost me a bit more again, which is a nono As well as I'm getting the Watch Dogs from with GTX760, I save around 50-60€ from that |

RE: New computer.
Yeah but surprisingly its not too bad on power consumption for what it is, its always good to have a powerful PSU anyway just for future's sake so you wont be diging out of your graphics card budget to upgrade the PSU in a years time.
been using this psu for 2 years now still going great abit pricey but you pay for what you get! quality over quantity all day!! http://www.pcupgrade.co.uk/productdetail...goryid=676 |

Yes yes, but really I would buy every part the best you can get for your money, if I had money!
As I said, my current list is 5€ away from my budget. |

RE: New computer.
As long as you don't do SLI, don't have an ultra high end GPU and have a quality PSU, 500W should be plenty. You could go 600 if you don't feel comfortable but the specifications of PC conponents always give a higher minimum wattage requirements to compensate for bad quality PSU's.

Bearing in mind future updates to the setup could include parts with higher power requirements, which would mean I would most likely need to update the PSU before it's time. |

RE: New computer.
Parts are becoming more power efficient; I personally wouldn't be concerned about higher power requirements.

RE: New computer.
You can always check what the graphics card's minimum PSU is by going onto Nividia's or ATI's website under the specifications tab of your graphics card.

Well I'm going for the PSU as listed. Any other recommendations? The price shouldn't go higher, as it would mean I can't afford it..

RE: New computer.
Still recommend the Seasonic S12II-Bronze 520W or the 620W version, you said they were modular but they are not, that's the M12II.
And I don't understand why you say the new generation i5 is bad, it's newer technology (better optimization) and higher ranked in benchmarks ( http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html ). You seemed to have made up your mind about all the components (with bad argumentation in my opinion), but I really advise you to do some more research before buying this. |

The page is not found.
I saw a comparison of the i5's, and agreed that it's not that much better it would be worth to buy. But I'll look into it again, if I can find it.. |

RE: New computer.
Well, what would be my benefits for changing "Intel Ivy Bridge i5-3570K, LGA1155, 3.4GHz, 6MB" to "Intel Xeon E3-1230V2, FCLGA1155, 3.3GHz, 8MB" in gaming?

The Xeon would be the next choice due to prices.. Everyone says the i5 would be better for gaming.

RE: New computer.
You can overclock a 3570k, you cannot overclock a Xeon. The higher potential clockspeeds with the i5 would make it better for gaming.

Alright, thanks. I didn't really find anything better with same price or cheaper from the link you posted malibu, so I'll be sticking with the 3570k for now.
