RE: New computer.
You are paying €219 for that, I really don't know what you are looking at but both the i5-4670K and the i5-4690K are cheaper and better. I don't understand why you want that 3570K so badly.
Edit: Let me just suggest something. By the way, where you buy your components it is waaay more expensive compared to where I would buy it, but just for comparison; this is your current build (watch_dogs and fans excluded in both builds): This is the build I would recommend for almost exactly the same price (for where I buy it) Bear in mind that for exactly the same price you get a newer and better CPU, you get a 770 instead of a 760, newer motherboard and a cheaper high quality PSU. Assuming you would wanna overclock otherwise you could save money on Non-K CPU and motherboard. I would also recommend an aftermarket cooler (Gelid Solutions Tranquillo Rev.2 - 30 Euros) if you want to overclock and an SSD is also a great performance boost. |

RE: New computer.
I got the coolers covered.
It's indeed expensive here in Finland, but what can I do. It's.. Expensive here in Finland. I don't know if I want to order the parts from another country, but you could give me a link on there and I'll see about it. Where I buy stuff, the 4670K isn't even on sale, and well, anything better from the 3570K is more expensive... I thought about the Haswell's though, better performance for cheaper price, and found a motherboard to go with it as well. |

RE: New computer.
Can you not give me the website you buy from? Maybe I can help you then, buying from another country is probably not cheaper.

RE: New computer.
On that website (which according to some forums I read on is not the cheapest finish website to buy from) the i5-4670K is 218 euros, which is the same price you listed. ( http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/BX80646I54670K )
I read some stuff on the internet and you might be able to get components a lot cheaper if you but it in Germany, but I can understand if you don't want that trouble. You can also save some money if you buy the power supply I suggested ( http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/S12II-520 ) Alright, with just that website, how about this. Graphics card: Asus GTX 770 (Watch Dogs included) - €289.00 CPU: Intel i5-4670K, LGA1150 3,4GHz - €218.00 Motherboard: AsRock Z87 PRO3, LGA1150 - €89.00 Memory: Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) HyperX Beast, DDR3 2400MHz - €74.90 Hard drive: Seagate 1TB Barracuda, 3,5'' 7200rpm - €61.00 DVD-drive: Samsung SH-224DB DVD-RW - €29.00 Power supply: Seasonic 520W S12II-520 - €71.90 Case: Aerocool GT Advance - €36.90 Fans: 3x Coolermaster Sickeflow red led - €15.00 Total of €884,70 |

Yes sorry, the MSI version is 289,00, just a matter of preference, you could do some research on noise, temperature and performance but it won't be a big difference (2014-06-08 19:56)Audiojack Wrote: If Jimms is not the cheapest, atleast they have the best service That's what I read yes |

RE: New computer.
Roba, are you buying the whole computer from Jimms? If so you could send an email to them and make an offer of the pack, that's how I did, and saved 190€.

RE: New computer.
Malibu, the PSU you recommend gives around 426W actual power, when the recommendation is 600W. And the recommendation is higher, because of the Bronze PSU's. So I'll play it safe and get a more powerful PSU..
And thanks Tibe, will do that! Guess I'm able to get a better PSU with the current parts and it would still be within my budget. |

RE: New computer.
The recommendations are all for cheap crap firestarter PSUs that can't sustain their rated output.
Find out the power requirements for all the parts (including fans, HDDs and possible future upgrades), add 20-30% and that's how much you need on 12V of a good quality PSU. If it's a cheap crappy one, double that figure and cross your fingers it doesn't burn your house down. The wattage figure is often misleading - I have a 600W PSU that has more 12V output on a single rail (it has four of them) than the total 12V on a fairly cheap "650W" PSU I have. You also have to take into account the efficiency rating when dealing with the wattage figure. Use the actual output specs, it's a much more helpful gauge. To give you an idea, the two most power hungry components are the CPU and GPU. From the list in #45 (with no overclocking): i5-4670K: 84W GTX 770: 250W |

RE: New computer.
520W will be plenty, like Elmo said the given minimum wattage isn't accurate for good quality PSU's, and the one I told you is a good quality one. The 620 version is not that much higher in price so you could just go for that.
