Recommend Headphones
Heyya guys, so originally I was between these two products and was having a hard decision making a choice;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-Stee...43ac0e24ed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-Stee...45ff782359 Both looked extremely good, espescially the reveiws provided on the site, but when I started googling comparisons I would hear things such as lacking bass, volume etc. This immediately rings alarm bells for me because i AM an audiophile and won't accept poor bass response or quietness, any lack of sensetivity, muddyness ETC :/ Now i'm really disappointed because this is the first headset manufacturer I've come across with a hideable microphone - which is perfect because I can use it at home and out and about.. And I know the [6S] Team is constantly nagging at me to come on TeamSpeak and i've been meaning to get a headset so I can do just that.. Can anyone shine some light on the situation to me? My budget is £100 and i'm looking for a decent - nice pair of headphones suited for an audiophile, that can be used on the go, an added bonus would ofcourse be a pull out microphone but I can survive without TS if need be :/. Thanks! - Tommer |

RE: Recommend Headphones
I have been very happy with my Siberia V2's, and I wouldn't say they're lacking bass.. Had much better bass than my old speakers before I got the huge Pioneers, lol. I still use the headset for making music. I'd say go ahead and buy them, but there are other manufacturers which offer removable or hideable microphones, just can't remember which.

RE: Recommend Headphones
Sennheiser HD25-SP II or the not discount version Sennheiser HD-25 II
Also Aiaiai TMA-1 can be found quite cheaply at http://thomann.de http://www.thomann.de/gb/aiaiai_tma_1_headphone.htm http://www.thomann.de/gb/sennheiser_hd25_c_ii.htm http://www.thomann.de/gb/sennheiser_hd25_sp.htm I have the Sennheiser HD25 SP II and they are the best headphones I've ever had with very good bass response. I hate 'open' headphones (where you can hear sound in the background and not that noise canceling) so I also buy closed one. If you want BASS you need these: http://www.thomann.de/gb/beyerdynamic_dt770pro.htm |

RE: Recommend Headphones
Hrm,
The Aiaiai's look a little small and the cups don't look like they'll go over my ears too comfortably, The Sennheisers look comfortable, but I don't think they will look too good out and about with the wires sticking out which is what I'd like to do really.. I was considering a pair of Crossfade LP's from v-moda but I read some reveiws saying that the headphones have a questionable balance, and that it wasn't very clear in higher tones.. http://www.iheadphones.co.uk/v-moda-cros...-nero.html Those are the headphones.. Also cable length is another factor, these cables are only 1.7m, but i'd like something abit longer really |

RE: Recommend Headphones
I got the Siberia V2 but the 7.1 and I paid about 80£ for those. The ones you have linked seams to be a ripoff since I got my last Siberia V2 headset without 7.1 for 60£. When it comes to the music experience, it is good enough for me, I think the base is enough and I was acctually impressed the first time I tried them. Idk how the rules are over there but here I can take home a product, try it out for 14-30 days and then return it if it doesnt satesfai me. If you do that then you can see if they good enough for you.

RE: Recommend Headphones
These are amazing headphones that I've had for about 3 years:
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR7506-Profe...B000AJIF4E (Sony MDR-7506) Studio quality, closed ear (which I like), with fantastic sound. I've got a pair of Sennheiser rs180 wireless headphones now, but I've still got these around if I need them. |
