Getting a population of individuals whom play LFS to learn a completely new language, or for one person - who knows the language very well - to assist those who don't know it so well, and so produce a ruleset that they're capable of reading. |

RE: Clarification of Arabic rules
Excuse me
The problem is not arab players or arabic people. The problem is the specific bunch of arabs playing on the servers. I have personally a few friends from saudi arabia and they speak english very well. Just those who join the servers recently are the worst image for their country however it does not make all them bad. Therefore, I wouldnt put any effort in making translations. Let them make an effort first to stay in this community. Believe google translator gives you atleast a basic explanation of the rules by just copy pasting them. |

I didn't ask you for help. You are basically contributing nothing here Frozen.
How can they make an effort to stay in this community if they don't understand how this community does things and its rules? |

I constantly see you whine about "Arabs following your chase" and when I finally suggest something to put an end to this, you disagree? This will just make everything safer in chases and driving. If they do they get removed from the server just like anyone else. If they play its their job to ensure what the rules are. They can use translator, or whatever. Here we go again Frozen, back to the thread itself and the first post;
"Instead of constantly banning them, knowing they will return with other accounts, why not make the rules understandable for them instead of wasting your entire day looking into the same type of reports? I am not standing with them, I am just someone who wants to make the driving environment safer for everyone else." RE: Clarification of Arabic rules
The main reason of all the problems is english.
Therefore that they cant speak english is our problem? Also let me make clear I do not have anything against this suggestion however In my opinion all this arab stuff is going a bit over the top now. |

Frozen I won't reply to you. You really don't make sense and I don't know why are you so against this idea if it is going to make the driving environment safer and you are basically not doing anything?

Following this suggestion you can also mention that the warnings given by TC have no effect since they are written in english. They press the Okay I understand button without even knowing what they done or what it says. So the next step, admin warning messages in arabic to ensure they get what the admin is trying to say correct? |

Frozen making you understand this is like speaking to a wall, no difference since both of you don't understand. (No offense)

Which they dont. Some rules here are just common sense and they do have it however they do not care about it. |

RE: Clarification of Arabic rules
Technically we don't know if they just don't follow them or if they actually don't know what the rules are because of the language issues. So it might be worth trying this suggestion to see if it improves their (some of them at least) behavior.

That is EXACTLY the point of this thread. It is to MAKE them understand it! Why is it so hard Frozen?!

RE: Clarification of Arabic rules
Its great suggestion but it kind of is giving arab people special place in community. Why do i, guy from finland, need to read stuff in english? Why can't i have rules written in finnish for me? Thats the biggest problem here is, nothing else
edit: i couldn't care less about kookoo using his personal time translating stuff, but the way he acts towards frozen and doesn't even try to understand his point of view, and instead is acting very offensive against him. |
