Police Computer (Online)

Hi,
I think it would add to the realism if there was a "Police Computer" system on the website.
It could have:

• Previous Offences
• Vehicle Details E.G Previous owners, Offences with this car and other things
• Drivers Lisense (Maybe another sugestion)
• MOT
• Service
• License Plate
• Driver Status E.G: Name, DOB, KM's, Cars, other stuiff
  

It would be usefull for cops that have a laptop or phone/ tablet to use

Yeah i agree to you, I think it have been suggested before,
But why not make this in the Insim, so people without 2 computer also can use it

That would be pretty cool, having the insim track the VIN number of the car to check records of owner and previous offences.

Also what about if service is nearly due by so many km and police can pull over for unsafe condition of car?

Would be cool but maybe too much, if has insurance, but do it really cheap so people don't moan and if you have no insurance police can fine you for it?

Well, what benefits could a user's name, DOB, odometer reading, list of previous offenses (minor speeding x50, wrong siding x50 etc) be to any cop on the server?

License plates are changed frequently by players/by driver status (COP/TOW etc...)

Think about it, what your suggesting is a mini URS style database of driver details, driver offenses, car offenses to be available to all COP's on the server.

Just a major headache IMO, -1.

Unserviced cars, may be implementable at some stage in the future I guess.

Well at the current stage in the insim, its more for realistic feeling, but hopefully in the future we will have stuff like insurance ect. so it would be awesome

We can't add the license plate info, people change it alot. Would have to be more coding to not allow someone to change their plate. What it would have to run off of would be VIN. one command, !showvin can work because then it can show alittle window like the fine window with all their info.
