RE: Something New You've Got...
I've got my "Military Pass", a plastic card with my picture, name, home sending date and length of duty (347 days).
By "passing" my service, I've also got DE licence to civil, along with the qualification for transporting people. It's been very important day for me for what I mentioned, everything I gained will be very useful at some point in my future, and would have costed A LOT in civil education. And to add, I'm also looking for a new car. It's probably going to be Blue like the Sierra, but a lot newer and better |

RE: Something New You've Got...
After a bit of back and forth with ZTE (They don't ship this to Europe...), I've finally gotten my hands on an Axon Pro.
Picked this up as my HTC One M7 finally bit the dust. I was thinking about an M8, because dem dual cameras, but the M9 for performance and screen quality. One major draw I found with this phone was the touch-sensitive buttons on the bottom. I always liked having dedicated buttons on the phone, so they're not taking up any valuable screen space, hence my preference of the M7. Trivial, I know...! So this is what I had found! Same performance, more RAM, higher screen size, and a higher resolution screen. About 2 weeks into the phone, and I think I'm going to like it very, very much. EDIT: Excuse the camera quality, I took the pictures on my work iPod (with it's potato-spec camera ) |

RE: Something New You've Got...
NIce, looks like ZTE have upped their game with their new range of phones, the last ZTE I had was a ZTE Skate (Orange Monte Carlo), still works today on Cyanogenmod 7, the Orange Android OS didn't like the phone.

RE: Something New You've Got...
Yeah, this is their flagship in the US at the moment. Full aluminum body, it feels really solid in the hand, very similar to my M7. This is my first ZTE product, I had to Google the Skate! One ridiculous drawback however, is that I can't find anything to root the phone... Quite annoying really, as I'd like to get my PS4 controller hooked up to the phone to take full advantage of what it has to offer as a mobile gaming platform.

RE: Something New You've Got...
Meh, for warranty reasons, I ain't rooting till the warranty runs out So I don't void it .
The Skate is a brick (not in terms of firmware), I could literally throw it around and not a scratch would get on it nor would the screen crack. Impressive for a fully plastic potato, when I find my Skate I will post a photo of it just to prove it |

I like that haha. I just picked up a Logitech k400. Was on sale for $15 at Target. Using it at work so I don't have to use these disgusting shared keyboards that no one ever cleans lol.

RE: Something New You've Got...
This is totally my new favorte thing ever:
I bought another Windows tablet. This time a Point of View P805W. Exact same specs as my previous I-Onik (that I just had for 10 days). I sent back the old one because I found that this P805W cost the same and had exact same specs, just 2GB of RAM instead of 1GB in the I-Onik. I absolutely love this thing. A USB OTG cable was included, so I'm currently on my Windows tablet with full complete desktop-edition Windows 10 with a wireless keyboard/mouse combo connected. Gonna try running LFS on it later lol |
