We don't need that much let, I would rather get 5x1TB instead of 2x2TB and 1x1TB because if a drive fails, less data is lost Biggrin

Also Nismo, nas = network access storage so effectively it's a server yes.

More HDD's means more things to go wrong. Each method has it's downsides.

NAS is "Network attatched storage" not access.

5 drives also lets you run RAID5 which is way more secure than JBOD because of having a 'spare' disk dedicated to backup in case one of them goes bad.

Has to deal with the land. Where that dip is theres a drain and a water runs through down to our pond.I would look really out of place being on a tall post and by city code we couldn't build up the area below it haha
