How to create a short URL?

Hope I don't sound silly asking this, but how do I create the short URL, tc-g.uk/abc? to link threads in game without having super long links.

Before you post, yes I know there are sites that can shorten URL's but with that comes advertisements etc.

For shortening thread IDs you can use tc-g.uk/t=xxxx and for post IDs you can use tc-g.uk/p=xxxx.

Only [TC] Members can make short URLs though.

Unfortunately only TC Members may create short URLs using the TC-g.uk URL.

This link its froom google , and there you can paste the link and it auto create a short link. It contains goo.gl , not tc-g.uk , but maybe this can solve your doubt

I personally use Bitly -> https://bitly.com/
Works like a charm.

We do plan to allow people to use our url shortener at some point but for now, either do what BP said or use Google's or Bitly.
