Most of the new ideas are going to consist of driving to a place on the server to have something happen. We can't do anything else other than that realistically. This limits the ideas considerably. But this is only looking at it from a 'civilian' point of view. Since I don't cop, i find it harder to think of ideas that would benefit the cop roleplay. Can there be a way of having more than one suspect in a chase? |

We all know the delivery type jobs you get on other cruise servers. I've been thinking of ways we could make them unique on our servers.
We could introduce 'companies' and each company would have an official skin pack that you'd need to use to do deliveries, maybe with a tag in your name as well, much like the roles we already have. Perhaps there could be a new license that you'd need to be a 'delivery driver'. There could be some sort of friendly competition between the companies (so there is more to the jobs than just the driving and the rewards) which could be monitored by having stats available from each company. And then there is the possibility of doing illegal deliveries within all this, which would be more risky as maybe the cops could chase you with the risk of a high fine if caught, and maybe even get your 'delivery driver' license suspended temporarily meaning you wouldn't be able to do any more deliveries for a while (wouldn't be a long time, but enough for you to think twice before accepting an illegal delivery job), but if you succeed, a higher payout instead. Also there could be RP involved in this. So, that's an idea i had. And basically what i mean by thinking up ways to make the jobs unique. |

Oh, so you can give the ability for people to begin their own companies and hire people to work for them? Or begin their own syndicate probably to make it dodge and escape cops.

And as for the actual driving part of the deliveries, maybe the insim gives you a specific "address" that you have to drive to, find and then do !unload or something like that. And if you !unload in the wrong area, you get a penalty of some sort. Maybe the insim could mark the delivery point with an object that you have to find and then have to park and do !unload within 10-30m of that object. Like as if it was a new role like [MED]/[RES]/[COP] etc. Imagine if we use real companies, it could be [DHL], [UPS] and so on. |

Ras idea is almost perfect, especially with companies and their competitions. Maybe there could be many licenses for certains jobs, for example if you want deliver food you need to buy food deliver license, liquid deliveries with liquid license. And that need to be done step by step: food-liquid-explosive things- fast deliveries- fragile things and etc. For example 50 simple deliveries unlocks other license to buy and so on..

would be good to further the roles of tow/med/res, perhaps integrate the use of RP points against larger monetary gains or unlocks.
Perhaps you could gain levels through the amount of RP points you have, along a similar idea of what has been mentioned above. Encouragement to drive within speedlimits and smoothly would be beneficial in slowing traffic from driving flat out everywhere for those who decide to do jobs |

I'd rather we didn't have a weed job tbh. Or anything relating to drugs.
I do like the idea of a courier job though. Maybe you'd have to do some long route, and a GPS could be involved if that's not too hard? (E.g. turn left). Thinking about it, it might be too complicated, but I dunno. I don't mind the idea of a bank robbery thing either. |

-1 to jobs , thats what make TC unique.
+1 to the option of the stealing thing , but it maybe cause a bit of chaos cause COPs will start to chase everyone. I suggest that when someone start to rob sommething , a msg appear on chat : [RDSR]Borja - Stealing gasoil So then COPs search him and stop him. But stoping every1 for check it , dont sounds me great at all, cause some users will start getting bad for getting chased without reason , bla bla bla... |

Unknown package (Transporter) type deliveries sure, provided there's actual skill involved. I had a few ideas years ago, but anything worthwhile will likely be fairly complex to program. There are probably a few things we can do to spice things up. |
