Hi Everybody!

Just a quick update, the open recruitment period has now CLOSED. Overall we have received 10 applications, I was not even expecting half of that, so very surprising that the number is so high.

We thank everyone who has applied, we've been watching yourselves on TC servers to help get an idea of who will fit in to the team, along with reading all your applications.

We now have to argue among ourselves (not literally I hope) Wink

about who we will bring through to the 1 week recruitment stage and who we will unfortunately not be taking through, but do not worry, if you do not make it through this time you are more than welcome to apply within the next recruitment period.

To help those who are unsuccessful we will update your application on the forum and explain as to why your application was not accepted and include tips and things for you to improve on with the hope you will re-apply in the next recruitment period.

We want to thank everybody who has applied and everybody who has either shown interest or wished us well.

Hello Hello Hello!

After many hours of arguing, and by arguing I mean everyone completely agreeing with each other we have decided on 8 out of 10 of applicants are going through to the probationary/recruitment period.

These applicants are as follows;
[GU]Rossi
[GU]Gaz
[GU]betteR
[GU]Jason
[GU]Jone
[GU]vCurt
[GU]Jack
[GU]Callum

Who will all be noticeable by the first letter after the [GU] tag being white.

We will as expected be monitoring their progress over the forthcoming week within TC servers and in general, if you have any issues with any of these recruits please PM Myself, Invortex, Sean, Lewis or Neko (At a last result only on our forum) and we will be happy to discuss and resolve the problem to the best of our abilities.

We want to thank all the new recruits for their forthcoming dedication (I hope)
to the team, and to everyone who had applied and were unfortunately not taken through to this stage.

If you were not taken through to this next stage, then do not worry, we have left some feedback on your application on the forum and we will be more than happy for you to apply in our next open recruitment period.

Hi All,

Just thought I would give you all a quick message here to let you all know that due to circumstances out of my control I have had to take an extended break away from Online Gaming, however this does not effect my standing within Gamers United. As you all know I'm one of 3 head admins, and whilst I am away they will be taking responsibility for my duties. So if you don't see me in game or don't hear from me, do not worry I'll be back as soon as I can be and not a second later.

Hello!

In this post I will be announcing who has made it through recruitment and are now official members of GU.

It has taken a bit of time for us to monitor our recruits, and we have had many discussions about their behavior and general attitude within the community.

I would like to congratulate the following recruits on getting through recruitment, and now officially being members of our team:

Very true, we are very lucky to have Ross come and join us full time, along with the other new members.

They have been welcomed fantastically by the existing members, and everyone within GU have proved themselves to be a vital part of the team. It is a shame I'm not currently able to play as such an active part but I guarantee that everyone who has became a team member knows how much their input makes the difference to the team and will continue to push our beliefs and be outstanding models of what we expect of anyone who would potentially look at joining the team!

I've already taken the time to congratulate the new team members but once again welcome to the family, we're very lucky to have you.

Apart from Ross that is, all he does is complains his old bones hurt Wink

As TAZxx said, we are definitely lucky to have Rossi with us. He fits in very well with us and is always up for a laugh.
