Today we have a few announcements to make.

Open Recruitment - Summer 2017



Yes, today we are announcing that we will be opening a recruitment window across all of Team LightsOut Next Thursday. Just a reminder that we are looking for members to join any of our subsidiaries (LightsOut LFS, LightsOut Racing, LightsOut Trucking, LightsOut Strikers (Rocket League), LightsOut GTA and LightsOut Gaming).

The way the recruitment window will operate this time is very simple:

• The Application window opens next Thursday.
• The Application window will be open for two weeks.
• After 2 weeks, the Application window will close and no more applications can be made.
• We will then decide on the night of the closure of the window, who will progress onto becoming a recruit for the subsidiary of their choice. The results will be posted the following Friday morning.
• The new recruits will then undergo a one week (or more if a situation arises) recruitment period to comfort our thoughts.
• After the one week recruitment period, the results will be posted the following Saturday morning.

LightsOut - Race of Champions - League 2



The time has come to announce our next Race of Champions. Due to the amount of interest from the community after our previous Race of Champions, we thought it was viable to host another. It will be hosted on 8/7/17.

The format of the event will be exactly the same as last time. However, there are a couple of aspects different on this event.

We will be using the XRT instead at this RoC.

Also, we have made a brand new, exciting layout on the Blackwood Car Park and we consider it to be a lot more aesthetically pleasing than our previous layout. This layout is also different in the way the racers will be racing, the track is one infinite loop, meaning the crossover is not noticed until the cars are entering the second lap and they have miraculously changed sides.

Sign-ups will open soon for this event, we hope to see you all there!

LightsOut - Lo Kyoto300 - 300 Mile Race at the Kyoto Oval Speedway



Finally, as the title states, in the first week of August, we will be hosting the first, annual Lo Kyoto300 Race.

The race is inspired from the annual Indy500 which takes place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the USA. The Kyoto300 is a 300 mile/160 lap race around the Kyoto Oval Speedway in the Formula V8. The choice of car that we'll be using for the race was chosen because of the FO8's speed and high down-force at high speeds.

More information on this race will be released soon. The final preparations are still being made!

So, as you can see, we at Team LightsOut will be pretty busy over the summer and we plan to host more events as we progress through the season. A calendar will soon be produced and posted on the Team LightsOut website which will contain the dates of all our future events.

A reminder that the event is going to happen on 08.07.2017. and the LightsOut server will be open with the layout loaded on it for practise the week before the event. The prizes are the following:

• 1st place prize: 60% of the Prize Pool + A steam game of your choosing under $60
• 2nd place prize: 30% of the Prize Pool
• 3rd place prize: 10% of the Prize Pool

Hello everyone, today we at LightsOut have closed the GTA and Trucking divisions. We chose to do so because LightsOut and it's members all started out of TC and we want to continue focusing on LFS and racing and making both more advanced.

Dont forget that the LightsOut Race of Champions is starting in one week on the 8th of July, 2017. Practice for the event will be opened from today 1st of July till the 7th of July 2017 (server name: LightsOut). The layout is open to everyone that wants to try it.
