They are a disgrace to the automotive community. I have never been outhandled by a jdm car, I have only ever lost a highway pull because my car is bone stock at only about 163bhp. Once the cooper works kit arrives they won't stand a chance. Sure a Honda will last 500bagillion miles, but none of those will ever eb as enjoyable as one mile in a cooper.

You are a disgrace to the automotive community. Just because you run around racing "Ricers" doesn't mean Honda's are slow..

In fact most of the Honda's from 92-00(?) had one of them best suspensions setups from the factory. Instead like most others that where/are using MacPherson setup which is much cheaper and more simple solution they had the double wishbone suspension. That is better and faster on the track (With the right components)

And with the more stiff chassi, spot welded and some parts even have thicker metal to minimize the body roll it's a damn fast car even with only 195hp.

I live in Orimattila. I would have put some kind of a cover on it but the snow was faster than me and it would have been useless to cover the snow

I don't run around racing ricers. My family has owned about 50ish cars and only 1 JDM car because they don't even compare. Its not even limited to cornering you can include terrible build quality. Almost every civic has rust because of lack of effort to devlop better electric discharge points as well as weld locations.

Manufacturer of a strut doesn't matter if it can't be applied. That 63 Austin I had cornered better than any Honda I've ever driven. Even beetles can take them better.

Don't go around trying to attack someone if you don't have facts. I have plenty more to back up. There are some JDM cars though that don't qualify under these stats. The Toyota 2000gt is in my top 5 list but it was built with every intention to beat Astons. The Honda s600/800s are alSo no included. 1981-1985 celicas and surpass as well not included. Datsun 510s are by far the most superior entry sedan built by that country.

This debate really only pertains to Hondas unless you want to open it up. My dad and I always laugh at these Hondas are the best things.

It is actually true that Hondas rust.. I'm glad that mine hasn't.

But whatever the case is, I still consider japanese cars being a "disgrace" a bit too much.

Personally, no amount of facts or tales could ever turn me off them though, I have loved Hondas almost all of my life, ever since I knew what a Honda was, so from about age 4

Seems like it's more about taste then actual fact and this will only turn to a flame war about what everyone think is the best car. Judging JDM cars by driving one old shopping car is like judging a dog from it's hair. Doesn't even look like you'll ever see nor want to see the good sides either..

What year? Our '02 has been babied its entire life(minus a few burnouts) but they all rust on the back lower cab corners. Water somehow sneaks in between the dual metal layers. This is due to the lower standards for truck crash test ratings. They use shotty welds and cheaper metals.

I hardly think that's enough experience with that type of car to make a judgement, maybe you got a bad apple and the next one could be better. Don't think I'm sticking up for hondas though, FWD isn't my thing.

My car has no rust and has been good to me since the day I bought it.
