Okay, so...

I have been using my laptop for 6 years.
I noticed that while it could handle PS/InDesign/Illustrator pretty well, it seemed to lag behind when it comes to LFS. I thought it had to do with the graphics card and the worse cooling a laptop has against a desktop.

So, I was surprised to see that it seemed that PS was using the onboard graphics card to do its calculations. Been digging somewhat, and it turns out that on my laptop the dedicated card had to be turned on.

Did that, all works.

LFS before turning on dedi graphics card: 89% GPU
LFS after turning on dedicated graphics card: 8%. GPU.

Yep, happy with it. Seems like my Laptop is running far better than my desktop though... *cough*
