Speedo dying was what happened to the EAC Fiesta we had too, so don't expect just a new ECU to fix it Smile

Also note the 2002 Cooper S fitted with the lighter wheels only weighs 1120kg. And if you really want to compare your "top of the line Honda" the Cooper GP only weighs 940kg and has a stock 0-60 of 5.9 seconds with a mere 218hp.

My Chubby Cupra did 5.6 to 60mph with full interior/spare/tools. With a mere 211 bhp. Ladies put your Epenises away and have a discussion, not an argument. The world would be an awful place if everyone like the same things. I like Civics and Coopers. I can see merits and disadvantages in both. Its all down to personal choice. Update to my Cupra. Taking it down a few 1/4miles soon sooo took the rear seats/bench out the otherday. Jesus! they weight a tonne!- Okay.. just under 50kg's. Results will be better performance, better mpg(though its pretty good as it is) and no taxi jobs ahaha. Wonder what its "bragging"(0-60 1/4mile) times are now. . .

Heard from the Police yesterday, no CCTV footage unfortunately Sad

Also, as the car only had about 10-15miles worth of petrol in it, I thought the best chance of a sighting would be at a petrol station. However, it seems the CCTV cameras at garages are not linked to the police national computer Sad

What a joke.

Sent all the various forms to my insurance company today, will get there tomorrow, so hopefully that will get the ball rolling. From asking people, and some stuff on other forums, it seems the likely method of theft is somehow getting a duplicate key - which is scary.

its a bloody bargain. been looked after and serviced every year, 2001 60k miles, hes going to scrap it otherwise he just wants rid because she picked up the brand new fiesta today and he gets his company car in two weeks,

so .. maybe. we will see.
