Hello all, we are RedLine. We are a new team formed by several members of the former ABOVΞ team, and many of us former ABOVΞ members comprise the new team.

Our core values embrace democracy and team-led decision making - all team members here have a voice and are encouraged to vote on team-wide issues and discussions. Further, we strive to include members who are professional, mindful, respectful of others, and who have shown example as good, responsible drivers.

Notes on recruitment:

We seek new members to join us at any time, but we are selective about who enters the team. In general, members from team leadership are those who will extend offers to join out to individuals, however all are welcome to ask to join the team. Please be aware that depending on the behavior the prospective individual models, they may or may not be extended an offer to join. If an individual is declined entry, the team leader the individual coordinated with will clearly identify areas we would like to see improvement in, and ask you to request again after 90 days.

Please note, if a prospective individual is asked to demonstrate improvement before they may join, pestering team leadership (or any team member) during the 90-day period to join early will not be helpful in gaining membership. If team leadership agrees that sufficient improvement has been made before 90 days, the individual may be extended an offer early. If an individal is able to show improvement in identified areas, we are more confident about that individual's maturity, and ability and willingness to learn and grow.

All recruits are subject to a 14-day recruitment period, in which we aim to see the recruit model our values, and ultimately obtain their full membership.

Events:

RedLine aims to host public events on the [TC] 1 server at least once a month. These are planned and announced from our Discord server (details below). These may be anything from cruising, drag racing, team bus routes, races, etc.. All members, whether affiliated with our team or not, are more than welcome to join any of these events. RedLine may at times host "private" events on a temporary server, in case we may do an event that would not be appropriate to run on a public cruising server (IE stunt events, hide and seek, etc.). We are open to new event ideas and would like to hear your suggestions!

Discord:

The RedLine Discord server is open to the public. Any person may join our server, and following acceptance of our rules, participate in general discussions. Please note: all members will be subject to the same 'common-sense' rules. There is absolutely zero tolerance on any form of racism, biggotry, hate-speech, or in general, any other forms of conversation where the aim is to put others down, to target individuals, or create an unpleasant time for members of the server. All members are required to be respectful and mindful of others as well as of differing opinions, backgrounds, ethnicities, etc. We are a diverse group of people from all over the world and we pride ourselves on being able to collaborate and share discussions with each other, and share our varied experiences.

If it is clear to team leadership an individual is in violation of these rules, they are subject for removal from the server, potentially without any warning.

Hi everyone, RedLine has a couple of exciting team announcements to share, and a word on recruitment.

First, we welcome the following new members to our team:

We have two new recruits actively undergoing their recruitment period, welcome to RedLine Bas and RedLine Anders!

We also wish to share our congratulations to [TC] Luke, who has taken a position on [TC] staff as recruit admin. Luke has been moved to a regular member with us and will stick around to socialize with RedLine. We're sure you are going to contribute well to their team!

A quick note on recruitment/prospective new members:

We are always looking for new members, but have some basic ground rules on who we may extend a recruitment offer to. Any new prospective members must be age 18 or older. We are an 18+ team. No exceptions to this rule going forward.

Prospective members will be asked to provide a screenshot of their URS from [TC] World for evaluation by RedLine staff. We look to see a playtime of at least 100 hours, a recent report history which is minimal and does not show any conduct violations (IE arguing with staff, causing harassment, showing wanton aggression, etc.) within the last three months. No recent bans in the last three months for any conduct related reasons (things like temporary code 1's we aren't concerned about). Further, we will gauge your community presence. In other terms, it's usually well known in the [TC] community who is mature, and who causes problems.

If you meet these qualities and wish to join, you can reach out to any of our Captains or Leaders to start a discussion.

Hi everyone, happy new year from RedLine Team! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and are doing well as we kick off into 2024.

It's been a little while since our last update, here is what has been going on with the team:

Since we last reported, our team has brought on the following team members:

All these new folks passed our recruitment process with ease. Welcome to the team, lads! We are very happy you are here with us :)

We also have conducted some promotions on the team:

• (Not so new anymore) recruits RedLine Anders and RedLine Bas passed recruitment in late September, and are now full RedLine Members.
• RedLine KaSOY and RedLine Orange were promoted to RedLine Senior Member.
  

For our Captains, there are two updates to mention:

• We extended a promotion to RedLine BimmerDaddy to become RedLine Captain and they accepted. We appreciate BimmerDaddy for stepping-up and helping us manage the team!
• RedLine Roberson decided to step down from their role as RedLine Captain and return to RedLine Senior Member status.
  

Congratulations to those who have been promoted! More promotions to come in the future ;)

In a nutshell, these are our general requirements, each potential recruit is reviewed individually:

1. Age 18+ (no exceptions going forward).
2. At least 100 hours on [TC] CityDriving (we seek those who are past the initial learning process).
3. Honest, well-skilled, aware, and careful drivers who both avoid conflicts on the road and with the Community.
4. A good reputation among the Community (small community, easy to tell if you're a troublemaker), as well as no recent bans for any community violations or cheating, etc.. Note: Part of how we will determine this is to ask potential recruits for a screenshot of their URS section on their [TC] World profile.
