Just to confirm, it's a safety car start not a rolling start, correct?
That means that the lead car will be going flat out at or before the final corner. I assume there'll be no overtaking before the start line.

It would have been helpful for the start procedure to be explained (or even mentioned for that matter) in the sign up post, so everyone knows what's happening.

I think its a rolling start, well that's what I guess we sort off practiced the other day, not 100% sure though.

I just had a lap in the RB4 earlier on the server, did a 1:25.12 time. That's not even half a second faster than the fastest XFG drivers... I'm so doomed, god...

Well, talking to Lamp yesterday, it definitely wasn't going to be a proper rolling start (cars side by side, at a constant speed and formation until green flag) which is pretty much guaranteed to be a mess. Even single file, you get more T1 problems with a proper rolling start, because chances are the cars at the back are going faster than those at the front at green (anyone ever seen a WTCC Race 1 start? If professional drivers can't consistently manage it, what chance have we?). At least with a standing start everyone's going at more or less the same speed.

Whereas with a standard safety car start/restart, you're pretty much guaranteed to have a bit of a spread by T1, because it's the lead car dictating the start and everyone else reacting to the car in front.

Timezone/Summer time things confused me so i though race was going to start now, but it is going to start after hour, soooooooo I'm not able to attend 'cause i got things to do after hour. -.- shame, i wanted to race.

i though that i would have time to join event at once ._.

I had this same problem. I came 1h too early -,- I could really have something better to do for the 1h than sit on the server but oh well

I decided to leave the event, but that was only because i had a roll over crash which put me so far back there were no point in continuing. Nice event though

I was hit from behind on the 1st safety car lap just at the start/finish line. Would kindly request people to have a look at this, and also to have a re-race next week?

1) Event was well organised
2) Lagg was main issue, especially for the back of race pack (Full race would of been terrible)
3) I had to brake so many times due to the lagg
4) Front 2 to 4 racers would not of suffered such bad lagg issues
5) But was fun for ermm i think 1 1/2 laps lmao
6) I was busy watching Elmo's arse on sector two then, booom i rolled it
