Users Involved
Your LFS Username:tnt25 Their LFS Username(s): thatyorkshireman, minniyer Their In-game Nickname(s): [TC]›Yung‹[VCU], [TC]›Dale‹[COP] Incident Information Date of Incident: 27th of January 2025 Time of Incident: 5-6pm Description of Incident (Include Timestamps): The chase was chill at the beginning, after Dale and few others joined it started to be a real mess. Moving roadblock by admin in a BUS - not followed by any apologies even after confrontation, poor Dale "misjudged and miscalculated" pit manouvers, hitting me from the back etc. Finally poor judgement in evaluating the situation by Dale - that's why this report is also aimed at him. 25:50 - Brake check by Nino. Reviewing the tape, I recognize that I could have avoided this situation, so I do not consider it an issue. 29:20 - A moving roadblock by Yung, which is a clear violation of server rules. 31:46 - I braked to turn left into the gas station, but Dale interpreted this as a brake check, which I believe is a misunderstanding. 37:30 - A miscalculated PIT maneuver by Dale resulted in my car flipping and taking heavy damage. While Dale apologized, this action ended the chase for me. later confrontation also included - basically 37:40 and till the end Description of your conversation with this user(s) about their conduct, including their reaction to your messages: After the chase, I confronted Yung about the moving roadblock and asked if he would apologize. His response, "I will happily admit that I misjudged when you would be arriving," showed no remorse or accountability for violating server rules. When I used the phrase "all cops here total iq of 23" in the chat, Dale accused me of calling people "stupid" or "dumb." However, this was not the case. The statement was a figurative expression of frustration directed at the questionable maneuvers performed by multiple officers during the chase. It is clear that no adult human could have such a low IQ, and the comment was not aimed at any individual. Dale's insistence on misinterpreting my statement, combined with his poor assessment of the brake at 31:46 and the PIT at 37:30, raises concerns about his professionalism and ability to maintain fairness as an admin. Despite my frustrations, I apologized to Muffin after the chase, as I believed he acted fairly and did nothing wrong. RE: Report on Dale and Yung (both TC members)
I admitted fault for the roadblock, an error on my part, I miscalculated when you would arrive in view. I should have aborted my tactical insertion into the traffic lights.

RE: Report on Dale and Yung (both TC members)
Thanks for admitting the mistake, but I was hoping for a genuine apology, especially given your role as an admin. I understand you miscalculated when I would arrive, but the roadblock you executed still directly impacted the chase and broke the rules. An apology for the action itself, not just the mistake, would show a more responsible approach. I believe as an admin, it's important to set an example, and such actions should be avoided in the future
You also admitted that mistake AFTER I confronted you, not instantly. That's important thing to say as well |

RE: Report on Dale and Yung (both TC members)
Sorry for the new reply, but I didn’t want to edit the thread once again.
Here are some additional timestamps I found: 14:13 - Yung hits Yakuz. Sirens were visible for him, of course, but Yakuz had nowhere to move on a bike. Yung could have easily avoided this. 15:32 - Dale's poor maneuver that could have resulted in a huge crash with oncoming traffic. 21:05 - Dale miscalculated both his and my braking distance, which resulted in him pushing me WW. This was followed by a quick "sorry." 40:20 - After rewatching this entire chase, I couldn’t find the "three times" I allegedly brake-checked Dale (as he claimed at 40:20). The only instance of supposed brake-checking was already addressed in my original post as a misunderstanding. Everyone makes mistakes, and as long as they apologise, no harm is done. However, I believe TC admins should uphold higher standards, and repeatedly misjudging situations is unacceptable, especially given that they are representatives of the server. |

RE: Report on Dale and Yung (both TC members)
Hi,
While I appreciate the unban, I can't help but feel that if it weren't for the report, things might have played out differently. I acknowledge your apology, though I'm still considering whether to fully accept it. Frankly, I don’t think an admin should have reacted the way you did in this situation. As someone representing the server, your decisions should be based on fairness and proper judgment rather than personal emotions. It’s unfortunate that this had to escalate to a public report in the first place, but I hope the right actions will be taken—especially since the entire community is watching. |

RE: Report on Dale and Yung (both TC members)
Hello,
We have concluded the following, looking at the provided timestamps and information: 25:50 - Brake check by Nino. Reviewing the tape, I recognize that I could have avoided this situation, so I do not consider it an issue. Irrelevant to the report. No issue here. (No action taken) 29:20 - A moving roadblock by Yung, which is a clear violation of server rules. Yung violated a few points of Rule 4.5 - Not ideal move from him there. He has been spoken to by Management to improve on this part of copping. (Action taken as described) 31:46 - I braked to turn left into the gas station, but Dale interpreted this as a brake check, which I believe is a misunderstanding. No major issue here. Dale was too close and didn't anticipate your braking. Minor contact between the cars. This happens all the time in chases. Dale saw it as brake checking, and that is understandable to some extend, when looking at it from his POV. He expressed his annoyance with this, which is okay (even as an admin). He never gave you any admin punishment for it, so no harm done here. (No action taken) 37:30 - A miscalculated PIT maneuver by Dale resulted in my car flipping and taking heavy damage. While Dale apologized, this action ended the chase for me. That was indeed a bad miscalculated PIT maneuver. Mess-up's can happen for even the best of us, and Dale apologised immediately. He has, however, been spoken to by Management, to improve on this part of copping (Action taken as described) later confrontation also included - basically 37:40 and till the end Nothing major to take note of, that isn't already mentioned above. (No action taken) On a side-note: It is understandable, that your comment "all cops here total iq of 23" resulted in some reaction from admins, as it is not exactly something you would say in a friendly gaming environment. I believe it has been settled in the unban request of yours. Thank you for the report. ~ Ras on behalf of [TC] CityDriving Management Action has been taken as described
Thank you for your report, it has now been moved to the archives. |
