RE: astraxan excessive use of force
Just to confirm before I accept this report and make a decision, was there any interaction with yourself and the reported user after the incident where you messaged them asking for a reason / sorry etc?

RE: astraxan excessive use of force
First timestamp: Like you said, minor hit and cop apologised. No structural damage, all is good with the world.
Just before final timestamp: Again, not really an issue. Cop should have apologised but he did slam on the brakes hard. I suspect they need to increase the brake force on their set. No structural damage. Final timestamp: The cop pushed you into the barrier, and continued to push you into it causing you to flip. This is against the rules, which have been recently updated: 15.2.3 If a PIT maneuver against the opponent causes them to collide with a solid object, there must be no contact with the opponent at the moment they collide into that object. 15.2.3.a It is acceptable if the opponent collides with a solid object shortly after* the contact from the PIT maneuver has ended (*general guideline: a few seconds). 15.2.4 Participants must not attempt to PIT their opponent who is driving alongside a solid object (e.g. a wall or barrier) where there would be insufficient room for their vehicle to spin. This results in immediate damage. The last rule is particularly pertinent. It's dissapointing that a conversation wasn't had / sought after the crash. The cop should have apologised and the affected user could have made an effort ito converse, but it is what it is. astraxan will receive a confirmable warning due to the manoeuvre. Action has been taken as described
Thank you for your report, it has now been moved to the archives. |
