imho main problem with Sydney is average speed which is ~60km/h if you keep speedlimits...
Montana av. speed is ~120, the same as Kyoto (if you drive at all of the track, not only at AB)

Yeah, I agree with Karakino.
Sydney is the best track TC can offer imo. But most noobs avoid it because it takes some skill to drive fast there. But, what's more fun than flying over bumps, braking hard and pedal to the metal out of a corner while only having inches left between you and the wall?

Might just "accidentally" mess up the rotation schedule so Sydney is on both servers... That could be an interesting experiment

To be honest, I don't mind Sydney but the thing that annoys me is, chases are way too hectic and they're ruined quite quickly due to the nature of the track.

Sorry, didn't clarify, I'm referring to ruined by other drivers who are not in the chase.

Well, Sydney is rarely driven by most cruisers, even I'm horrible on Sydney. If it's on long enough I think people would learn how to drive it.

That doesn't always mean they're new to LFS. Yes, there are new users every once in a while and there hasn't been a new patch in 11 months, I'm sure they would have at least some experience in LFS.

It is a shame Sydney is not more active. I have rarely driven there, and it seems like a fun place to pootle around in a UF1, or speed through in an FXO. With 30 people cruising about on there it'd be incredibly fun with all the junctions and traffic flowing through a city. That is until someone forgets to give way and just swings out from a junction across traffic...

Ryan - I completely agree with you, I love the realistic flow of traffic at junctions etc... it really makes for a realistic experience!

I noticed we changed to Sydney, tbh I don't like it at all, its too small, too many corners, average speedlimit is very low and chases arent fun due to quite small roads. Please bring back the old track its much better...

Some people like it so.. and use the other server (two) if you don't like Sydney.
