I know someone who did the same to his BMW Z3 2.8 Coupé. Was very expensive to put it on his own name. He did however put it on his parents name.

Yet, after it was stolen, his insurance company went to a few neightbours and asked them who was driving the car the most time, bam, didn't get anything of the insurance.

If I used Fennia insurance company, I could get a yearly insurance of under 900 euros for a 1994 MKIV Toyota Supra here. Laugh

I'm not sure how Canada handles insurance, and it most certainly is not via car power. I think it's more the vehicle type and age of the driver, and if the vehicle has airbags.

Looking to get back into the RC scene, figured I'd make the swap from boats to tanks since they're a bit cheaper and people are generally more interested. This one will be the full pro version, metal tracks and gearboxes, smoke, sound, BB turret, recoil e.t.c.

Will give me something fun to mod for a while, swap out the gearboxes for 3:1 reduction, drop in some new motors and look into waterproofing it, and just generally learn them. May have to get into camo painting too. Going to need deep pockets though Rolleyes
