[Implemented] Suspects car during backup

Today I've joined a chase twice, being in a slower car and not wanting to be apart of the chase (FXO vs LX6).

Any way we can be told of the suspects vehicle when a cop calls for backup?

Yea it has been brought up numerous times in the past. Too lazy to search, but i think maybe the reason it isn't shown, is to not deter cops from joining chases as backup, for the reason you stated.. "being in a slower car".

Anyway, I do like the idea but it's also easy to spec the suspect's car before joining.

Perhaps with the new insim, it could be possible for the car type to only appear when backup is called and while the suspect is in visual contact, otherwise it should remain blank.

I like the idea of showing the suspects car. Theres no point anyways if you join with a very slow car vs. a very fast car, you cant do anything really.

It's not much of a hastle spectating somebody. Averagely, it would take me about five seconds give or take. If you can't do that then, well...

Well it isn't for us but most cops on the server are just spamming !join

Yea, but you spend pretty much 99% of your time on TC spectating other people while parked at the side of the road. Don't forget, some cops actually drive around too, so need time to stop (safely of course), and then spectate.. A bit more than 5 seconds if u ask me

Both times I was driving, and using mouse. Fair enough if I had my wheel but would be helpful if it gave us what car they use.

People saying that showing the suspects vehicle would deter cops from joining chase, I'd like to reverse your argument by making my own point;

Cop's are deterred from using slower TBO Police cars because they do not know what there suspect is driving.

My point is. The argument swings both ways, and putting this feature in IMO will have benefits that outweigh the drawbacks.
