AFK/Speedtrap Limit
Hiya,
I'm suggesting to put some better restrictions on Speedtraps and AFK time. Today a cop was parked on highway 1 with a speedtrap for what must have been 3 hours..? Speedtraps are limited to 10minutes at a time and yes he had a 60min+ idle kick limit but for 3 hours every 10 minutes this guy would shift his car half a meter and put the speedtrap on. I'm not being funny but, Speedtraps were limited to 10 minutes for a reason and the afk kick is there for a reason too. Being able to avoid this so easy makes the whole system pointless. My suggestion is, put a 10km 'reset' for idle kick. The idle timer pauses when you start driving and 10km's later it reset's, meaning you really do have to stop being afk to stop being afk. The slots can be put to better use. In the same way, the same cop shouldn't be able to put a speedtrap up over and over again for 3 hours in the same place. I propose bumping this distance for reset up to 25km so that they can only place a 10minute speedtrap every 25km, thus stopping abuse of the system. I really hope something about this is done, it's really frustrating. |

RE: AFK/Speedtrap Limit
+1 on this one... Maybe also remove the speedtraps? Serves no purpose for anyone, except taking money from speeders who isn't slowing down for them anyway..

I can't remember if we re-worked the idle kick to do something similar previously or not. I understand how annoying it is, but if a cop wants to park up and not earn anything that's fine with me. After all, if they sit in one place I can just low down if I really don't like being fined again and again. |

I can only agree with Tommer here, I see what you are saying Josh but I think it would be a nice idea. Cola, you also have a point but it adds more realism, I.E: speed cameras IRL or mobile units.

RE: AFK/Speedtrap Limit
Well, is there a reason it's being ignored?
That same cop is parked in the exact same place today, again. The server is full and he's just sat there the whole day speedtrapping. Anybody who can't get a slot to join should be blaming him when the server is full. |

Then just slow down ?

The slots can be put to better use. And well , if someone moves up every 5 min to reset the idle kick he isn't really afk isn't he ? Not everyone on the server wants to drive the hole time , like me I come to the server to drive a bit have fun and talk . |
