Got first ''smoke'' out of Taunus today Need to make oil restrictors so oil pressure isnt so high for turbos

Poor mans Mustang I'd suggest cleaning the engine bay a bit.. (blow the leaves off with a compressor or something)

Riding high but have to say the handling is way better than I was expecting comming from the superb fiesta( even more so as the fez had eibachs) the XDS makes light work of going round roundabouts too fast just to see what it can do

I can't help but think that it would look better without those outer grilles in the bumper (especially since they're just blanked off) and just have the foglights there instead

Well I had a ford before my Seat lol. And to the guys that say they would rather have a VW than a seat, they are the same car underneath. I like it anyhow. I test drove the audi A1 with 122 and 180ps (again, same car) the inside was pure RS4 with really nice features. But the drive was pretty soft and wallowy, not for me, I wanted a hot hatch and this really is one.Seat is VW "sportier" side.

Im trying not to spend money on it, but if you look in my project thread I already have a Induction kit, though im getting a new one made by the guys that did the one on my Fiesta. at the moment bar the stickers and a poppy coral air freshener its standard But after winter I can see me taking a trip to RS Tuning for a remap as they are only up the road and know me well

@Vee Yeah I agree they look silly, if they were guna do it they should of done em properly.Doesnt fit in since the rest of the main grill is cut out. They screw on and off, im interested in seeing whats underneath, maybe they could be filled in like that, but thats pretty major work and I wana be able to resell it when I want to.

Taunus is finally running without smoke but still no boost.
Yesterday we got boostlines fitted and went to start it, but starter said only poff :/

New addition to our family.

61 plate "New" astra with the "Elite" spec.
2.0 CDTI 165bhp 6 speed manual. 350nm torque, 0-60 in 8.5 seconds.
55% rear tint (through a third party company as Vauxhall don't do it as standard or as an optional extra)

Amazing engine. Pulls like a train in all of the gears. Doing 70mph before you even realise.
