The character might come back at some point. However if you overwrite it, it's gone. Look at the last update.

I probably wont attempt any more Online till they've posted some news about it or sent out a new game update.

I made my temporary characters in the second slot just to be safe.

Basicly a character that lets him have a limited experience of the online world, but the character won't get saved. So if the cloud is back his character will be gone.

Now that all your characters are gone aswell i do think they are working on it, makes me a bit more optimistic to not loose another one Tongue
