a word regarding clumpsiness
theese are all just first tries and prototypes. as soon as a decision is made wich suites best and what sort fakedeath is looking for, i'm sure there will be a lot of alternatives with just little modifications. as an example:

just thinner outlines, letters a bit apart, or a shadow, and for me its not clumpy anymore

With regards to the lines, the black outline is quite effective, and the speed-blur type of thing on the edge isn't something I'd pursue.
