The sleep problem is most likely "Wake on LAN".
To disable: Start > Type: "Device Manager" > Network Adapters > Right-click your network adapter > Power Management Tab > Untick: "Allow this device to wake the computer" or Tick: "Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer" (If you access your PC from across the network do not do this and finish at this step. If you access your computer across a network, continue to next step) > Click the advanced tab > In the property pane, click "Wake on Magic Packet" > Set the value to disabled |
