Autotest Events

Done an Autotest today in the little Pug. My 2nd ever time doing one, and first ever time in the dry. Was using normal road tyres.

6 runs in total.

After the 1st run, I had a time of 2:11.1 in total.
By the 6th run, I had a time of 1:29.4 in total.
A total decrease of 42 seconds.
This meant I also won the award of "Most improved" driver of the day, and won myself a lovely trophy.

I also was only 13 seconds per lap slower than the fastest driver there. And with no mistakes, i'm sure I could have been a lot closer.

I damaged my O/S (drivers side) wing mirror after not looking when reversing back and demolishing a cone with my mirror. A bit of black insulation tape and it was looking new-ish again. Atleast until I fit a new one. One poor 106 blew his clutch. Only 2 weeks old too (you wil lsee the car on run 5 video below).

Recorded run 5 and 6. Run 5 starts a bit late, but only lost about 15/20 seconds of it.




I'm planning on doing another one in December, and if I can, one even sooner than that again, so ill keep this thread updated when I do them. Also with photos when I get them etc.
