On my laptop (Lenovo G50-30 with an Intel Celeron N2830 @ 2.16GHz and an integrated Intel HD graphics chip) the gif pages load fine, atleast on Chrome. It's a bit slower than other pages and the CPU usage is 80-90% but I don't see real lag.

Using Google Chrome ver. 36.0.1985.143 on Ubuntu Gnome 14.04.1 64bit

 


