Its actually not as easy. The harddisk needs to be properly formatted, partitioned and also fitted with a boot loader.
Might be the easiest to use a program that does that. Ie http://www.partition-tool.com/copy-wizar...to-ssd.htm I don't have have practical experience on that though, as I have always reinstalled windows in such cases. |
