Yes it's a fuzzy one to judge and is very opinionated. I see it as, if there's a reasonable distance between the cars meaning the opponent swings his/her car into the victim to cause them to have little control of their direction and path of the vehicle, it's a ram in my eyes (also meaning I slightly disagree with Leons gif however, it's an awkward angle to judge) and rams are not tolerated but saying this, cops are allowed to use this minor swing effect to create a possible box maneuver, but only into walls, not barriers. If it's a side by side push and redirection of the victim, it's allowed. But this is only my words after discussions with 1 or 2 other senior [TC]'s.

It's becoming increasing popular so things maybe getting done about it. But let's not go off topic please. Congrats on your test. Feel free to apply for police training to enhance your skills and motivation as a cop!
