Youtube actually manages the uploads, they remove videos when there's author objections or someones privacy is being made public. TPB does not do anything against illegal material uploaded, they are actually aiming at these product as probably 95% of the uploads is illegal content. Therefore Youtube and TPB are far from the same.

And the website actually is responsible if they purposely offer illegal services to theor customer.

Its basicly the same. Censorship.

Obviously it's censorship.. but it will be censored not for political purposes but to protect authors from their work being stolen. Censorship in China or Korea can not be compared to this censorship, and if you really think it's similar then I am not going to continue this. You are just defending the providers because you are one of their customers and don't want to pay for payware, this has nothing to do with our freedom on the internet, it's like allowing shoplifting because you claim the freedom to do this. Maybe you should judge this from an authors point of view.

And as for TPB offering freeware, they can easily filter payware torrents from their website, they just choose not to do so because it's what makes them so big.
