Why would we HAVE to add static cameras if speedtraps were removed?

Your post sounds like server ends in a chaos if !speedtraps were removed but no other automatic speedfine gets introduced.

Speedtraps don't make the roads safer, they often just cause a brakecheck chaos right in front of the speedtrap.

Why don't we add a feature that forcespecs everyone who goes faster than the allowed speed? Right, cause it's a game and noone cares when people speed and they already lose money automatically, quite a lot if going way too fast.

So lets say the "suspect" being chased doesn't get fined by the speedtraps, but it lists a bank and at the end of the chase. IF you are caught it will add a minimum of €100 ontop of your failure to stop fine.

Speed cameras do slow people down, yes for a very short distance but, this again add's some realism towards "City Driving". If we want to slow people down for a LONG duration and keep them at a certain speed limit we would set up AVERAGE speed cameras.

I find it quite funny that because you and others choose to speed, you moan about loosing money. Lets just remember speed is not a main priority on a cruising server, although chases do have high speeds (above was explained oh how chases could be handled with static cameras)
