RE: Bugatti Veyron - A once in a lifetime experience !!!
Okay guys, the reason behind the delay is that the car was at the motorshow before being bought. The entire thing was about to get canceled but we got a call on the last minute saying this deal is still on. Ive receieved some info about the car. It is the Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire.
More info: Bugatti is no stranger to limited editions of its Veyron, with the Sang Noir, Pur Sang, Hermès, Pegaso and Grand Sport (pictured) to name just a few. Now a new model has been added to the list: the Bleu Centenaire, in celebration of Bugatti's 100th anniversary. Early reports suggested the special edition model could have an output of up to 1,400hp (1,043kW) and a top speed around the 440km/h (273mph) mark but at a preview showing of the car at the Geneva Motor Show Bugatti revealed that the powertrain in the Bleu Centenaire is the same 1,001hp (746kW) unit found in the regular Veyron. The Bleu Centenaire concept isn’t about extra horsepower, though, with the overall design intended to epitomize the "Art, Form, Technique" motto. There is expected to be extensive weight saving modifications, with Bugatti engineers reportedly having shaved almost 100kg from the standard Veyron’s kerb weight. This is done with the addition of lightweight carbon-fiber and aluminum in replacement of some the standard model’s steel components. Instead of the typical Veyron two-tone paint scheme, Bugatti has opted to go with a trend and finish the car out in a single color, but two finishes: matte and gloss. The choice of color, classic Bugatti blue, is a perfect homage to the centenary celebrations. Brightwork around the car is polished anodized aluminum, including the roof strips, side mirror accents and the mirror-finish grille. New LED lights, park distance control and a rearview camera enhance the safety of the Veyron, and all of these features are also to be standard on all Veyron models from 2009 forward. Inside, the Centenaire gets special 'snowbeige' quilted leather seats, with the same leather used on the center console as well. Otherwise, the car shares all mechanical and performance elements with the standard Veyron. Pricing will start at €1.35 million ($1.70 million), not including taxes and transportation fees. Founded in 1909, Bugatti has led a storied path through the worlds of automotive industry, motorsport and high-end supercars. Under the Volkswagen Group's ownership it has seen steady success despite its extremely limited-volume output and the latest Centenaire is only likely to build upon this.
