It's best trying to play with people you know. Or find decent players who play regularly. Solo queuing with the new rank layout is, as Warped basically said, it's a little annoying sometimes...
I still enjoy the game, and the rank system is good as it is now, but it does take some real dedication to become "good" at the game now  I've just learnt to enjoy the game more, rather than care about a silly rank
