No necessarily, there's 2 sides to every game. The way I've look at bumper cars, in real life anyways, is different. I'm not sure if this is local slang or not but I've always known actual "bumpercars" as "dodgems", and the aim is to avoid getting rammed rather than planning on ramming everything in existence. Flying full speed around the map and having head-on collisions isn't fun to me, I'd rather play it strategically and stay alive and win my team points then get rammed into oblivion.

True, I also think of it as dodge ball, the aim is to hit others, but not get hit yourself. But in my opinion, it is more fun to at least drive around the track and avoid being hit than being stationary in what was a hard to reach place.
