The 2.0TDi engine which was horrendous, were the engines that went in the B5 Platform. Specifically the 2.0 TDi BKD (BKD is the Engine Code) The 2006 Passat shouldn't have a problem.
Generally aslong as VW Engines are maintained well, they will last a long time (Especially the 1.9TDi AWX). |
